About PassthroughTube

PassthroughTube is a curated catalogue of AR porn and mixed-reality adult videos for passthrough-capable headsets — Meta Quest 3, Quest Pro, Apple Vision Pro and similar devices. Most adult sites that tag content as “VR” treat AR as an afterthought. We curate only scenes that actually use AR or passthrough — overlaying virtual performers into your physical room, rather than replacing your environment entirely.

The team uses pseudonyms (Google's SQRG §3.4 explicitly permits this) and the bios below describe what each person actually covers day to day. Each author has a stable URL fragment so reviews, scene pages, and our editorial guides can attribute consistently.

The editorial team

Sam Perreault

AR Curation Lead

3 years covering XR

Sam built the original PassthroughTube tag taxonomy and runs the scene-by-scene editorial review. Worked passthrough adult content since the Quest 3 launch in October 2023 — owns the “AR vs 180° VR” classification calls that decide what is allowed into the index.

Riley Stenberg

Mixed Reality Editor

2 years covering XR

Riley covers scene-room integration — how well a given passthrough scene sits in a real physical space versus how much it relies on darkened-room tricks. Writes the per-scene compatibility notes and maintains the room-size guidance on the device-guide pages.

Focus: Scene-room fit · compatibility notes · how-to-watch device guides

Cam Holtz

XR Hardware Reviewer

3 years covering XR

Cam tests every published scene against the headset matrix — Quest 3, Quest 3S, Quest Pro, Apple Vision Pro, and Vision Pro M5. Owns the per-device support tags and writes the Kiiroo Sync compatibility notes. Vision Pro day-one buyer.

What makes us different

  • Every scene listed has been tagged as passthrough or AR by the source studio and verified on a Quest 3 before listing.
  • We don't auto-generate combination category pages or other thin SEO filler.
  • Studios with fewer than five AR scenes don't get their own page (no thin content).
  • Hand-written editorial reviews exist for the top studios in the catalogue — surfaced on the studio page as “Editor's Verdict”.
  • All affiliate relationships are disclosed at the bottom of every page.

How the catalogue is built

New scenes enter the catalogue from studio AR/passthrough release feeds. They are tagged automatically against our taxonomy (passthrough vs 180° VR, headset compat, runtime, content type), then passed through an AI-assisted copy stage that drafts the on-page summary. Every scene with a public page is reviewed by an editor before it is allowed into the sitemap.

We disclose the AI-assistance step openly on every page rather than burying it in our terms of service. The detailed walk-through of our process lives on the methodology page.
