The premise is exactly as dumb as it sounds — two buddies, one poker game, a casual wife-swap that nobody apparently flagged as a HR situation — and that's actually fine, because nobody comes to BadoinkVR for the screenplay. What matters is the camera work, and that holds. Blondie Fesser and Katrina Moreno are both veterans, and they read the AR overlay format faster than half the performers we've seen this year — eye-line is on point, no fourth-wall slips, no awkward looking-past-camera moments. Where the build earns the framing: the 7K master is the studio's real one, not an up-rezzed 4K, and the Passthrough AI cut keeps both performers segmented cleanly during the cowgirl-on-cowgirl sequence where you'd expect the matte to fall apart. Where it reads as a structural flag: BadoinkVR's metadata still suggests Oculus Go and PSVR like it's 2018. We're in the colour-passthrough era, the description should reflect that. Verdict: solid mid-tier foursome demo, more interesting as a segmentation stress test than as a hot take on cards. Recommended if you've enjoyed either performer solo and want to see them split focus. The runtime stays disciplined through the position arc against the AR composite path without breaking the editorial commitment.
