BadoinkVR — large mainstream-VR brand, small AR test catalogue

BadoinkVR is a major mainstream-VR brand and the passthrough catalogue we see (10 scenes) appears to be an early test of AR as a format. The scenes are recognisably BadoinkVR but the AR builds vary from competent to experimental.

The promise is that, if the studio decides to commit to AR, their existing production infrastructure could produce a large high-quality catalogue quickly. The reality is that the current set is small and the catalogue is not yet a primary recommendation.

Watch the popular subset; expect inconsistency on the long tail. Useful as a signal for what mainstream-VR’s entry into AR looks like rather than as a primary source.
